Transcript

Clare: We thought it would be especially important to create a transcript of our storyboard, so that when it came to filming we could quickly tell our actors/actresses what to do and it will also make the filming schedule an easier process. Using the transcript we are able to estimate how often we would need to film in each location and when we would need each character present. The transcript will help the actors understand what they're supposed to say or be doing during each shoot, due to the stage directions. We have written the transcript in order of which the scenes will be put once our trailer has been edited.

Amanda: This transcript is a simple way to give the actors a general idea of what we want to create. Even though we may not stick to these exact commands/ideas. We decided this was an easy way to revert back to our ideas to inspire us for later on in editing and poster work.

Ade: The transcript in chronological order, provides a guideline which manoeuvres us in the right direction when we begin filming. Rather than merely improvising during our filming, we have a strict regulation to constantly refer to. The dialogue that we included is also helpful not just when we decide how the character behaves but also to help us find the sort of emotions the actress (Anna) should display. 

Anna's Bedroom

ANNA opens up her eyes in bed.
She reaches out and hits her alarm clock.
We view her getting ready in the mirror (brushing her hair/applying her make-up.)

ANNA (VOICE OVER)

"Everything used to be the way I wanted."

School
ANNA is with her two friends EMMA and LOTTIE walking through the school corridors and laughing.

ANNA (VOICE OVER)
"Perfect friends."



Anna's Dining Room
ANNA is eating dinner with her MUM and DAD whilst talking to them and laughing, we can see she is happy.

ANNA (VOICE OVER)
"Perfect family."

Psychiatrist Room (Room in school)
ANNA is having a conversation with her psychiatrist JANE.

ANNA (VOICE OVER)
"Perfect everything."

JANE
"What's changed?"

School
Time lapse of students walking into school.
ANNA walks to school alone.
ANNA is sitting alone at lunch.
EMMA and LOTTIE are by the lockers discussing ANNA.

EMMA
"I know, she's been acting really weird."

Anna's Home
ANNA opens up her front door and walks into her living room where she finds her MUM asleep on the sofa holding a half full glass of wine.
We see ANNA's disappointed face.

ANNA (VOICE OVER)
"Nobody gets how difficult it is for me.."
ANNA holds a bottle of pills and continues to flush the alcoholic substances down the toilet.



Psychiatrist Room (Room in school)
The conversation between ANNA and JANE continues.

ANNA
"Literally nobody understands me.."



Anna's Bedroom
We view ANNA sitting in front of her laptop on Facebook.
There is a closer view of the laptop screen where we witness cyber abuse from her "friends" ANNA and LOTTIE.

ANNA (CONTINUED VOICE OVER)
"They all just think I'm the psycho weirdo with the alcoholic mother."



School
ANNA is being psychically abused by her "friends" EMMA and LOTTIE.

Anna's Home
We view a close up shot of ANNA's hand closed.
She opens her closed fist to reveal pills on her palm.

Anna's Bedroom
We see ANNA violently pushing items off of her desk in anger.

JANE (VOICE OVER FROM CONVERSATION IN PSYCHIATRIST ROOM)
"We can help you."

Psychiatrist Room (Room in school)
ANNA is talking to JANE.

ANNA (YELLING)

"I DON'T NEED HELP."

ANNA is being COMFORTED but we don't necessarily see who by.
